We Are Not Apart.

We are apart

Not because of distance

Nor because you broke your voice

We ’re apart because of silence

And there was no other choice.

We are not apart

Because you’re far away

And have nothing more to say

Not because our paths have broken

And  you’ve   gone the other way.

We are apart because you flew away

And have left me little grace

For  you chose to paint a picture

In which  I have not a place.

We are apart because we lost it

Th’eternal spark that makes us move

We lost pace and we lost  vision

And a chance I cannot prove.
