How to Ask for What You Want in Life and Work

You Were.

You were too cluttered up
In your heart with noise of subconsious
Randomness and the voices of daily life
To let some space for my soul whispering.
You were taken up with the songs
Of to morrow and of yester year
Or the anxiety of what you should become
Or what you wanted to do next to listen
To the soft music of my musings.
You wanted to gain time
You wnated to gain space
You wanted to gain eternity
You were not focused.
You were taken up and consumed
By the thought of the time
When you did not need all that
To listen to my voice.
You let too many time limits elapse
And too many hurdles fall
And too many wedges to come between us
In the search of the one thing your never found:
Security.
